Per our Association by-laws, it is time to vote to elect a new member of our Executive Board.  Board members serve a term of three years.  Michael Brown is rotating off, and the Committee is grateful for his gracious service over the past three years.

Please read the following candidate bios and submit your vote below.  Thank you, and we hope to see you soon!

Donna Abrahamian, Class of 1980
Donna first met Ron when he was speaking at a college org meeting at UC Berkeley. When he spoke, everyone in that auditorium was completely engaged in the truth he was speaking! She knew that day, that as soon as he became a teacher, she would apply to his class. And that is exactly what happened! She applied and was accepted into his first class in 1980. Those two weeks changed her life forever. What an honor and privilege to be a part of something that would last a lifetime. Ron never wavered about God or the truth of Christian Science. Donna was born and raised in Truckee, CA. Both of her grandmothers started the Christian Science Society in Truckee. She became a Mother Church Member when she was 12 years old and became a member of the branch church in Truckee when she was 18. Donna has been very involved in this church for most of her life. Reading, teaching Sunday School, and being the Sunday School Superintendent along with serving many years on the Board of Directors and in the Reading Room are just a few of the wonderful opportunities that have blessed her. She has worked mostly in law offices as the Office Manager for many years. Donna has been retired for three years now. Her husband, Gary, recently retired also. They have two adult children.

Rebecca Aldinger, Class of 2008
Rebecca (Becky) Aldinger grew up at the Principia College and attended Principia through high school. After graduating from the University of California in Santa Cruz, she worked as an immigration paralegal, and then traveled to Chile to teach English. Living alone abroad provided for numerous opportunities to rely wholeheartedly on Christian Science, and Becky returned to the Bay Area eager to continue the dramatic growth in Christian Science that had accompanied this “wilderness” experience. As she worked toward her master’s degree in English, Becky deepened her spiritual study as well. Through his lectures and publications, she came to deeply appreciate Ron’s thought-provoking questions, logical thinking, and sense of humor. She was very grateful to be able to go through Primary Class with him in 2008. Becky now lives in Sacramento with her husband Tim and two young children, Eloise and Ian.

Kim Foreman, Class of 2008
Kim grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended high school at The Principia. After graduating from Principia College, Kim started her practice as a Christian Science Nurse. Kim has know about Ron for years through her dad and his time with Ron at the A/U Ranches in Colorado. It was over lunch after one of Ron’s lecture that she got a very clear message that Ron was going to be her teacher. Kim took Primary Class from Ron in 2008. She currently lives in San Francisco and works at Arden Wood.
